The New Yorker is considered by many to be the most influential magazine in the world, renowned for its in-depth reporting, political and cultural commentary, fiction, poetry, and humor.
Started as a weekly magazine in 1925, the magazine is now published 47 times annually. The New Yorker has a wide audience outside of New York and is read internationally. It is known for its illustrated and topical covers, many of which are drawn by well-known contemporary artists, as well as for its humorous cartoons, which are featured throughout each issue.
